Hi not sure which is the correct category for this?

I am looking for information and advice on installing an 80 gallon, 364 litre tank in a loft. I have found documentation from nhbc regarding roof trusses but nothing for a cut roof which is what i have.

Nhbc advises bracing over 4 joists but with no more than 300 litres.

can anyone help?

Thanks

Can you position it over a supporting wall?

Or you could fit two smaller tanks connected correctly over two spans of 4 joists?

there is only stud walls below, I am going to install them central to the loft but up against a gable wall. I could set the cross members into the gable end so they are bearing on that wall at 1 end?

I could fit 1 tank the opposite side of the loft but would this be an issue with how far away from the cylinder it would be?
