Hi,
Yesterday what started as me changing the "donut washer" on our downstairs toilet ended up with me having to replace the pan and cistern. To do this I had to remove all the 'boxing in' around the pipes so the new toilet would fit. Lots of tidying up to do now....
But in the course of doing so I noticed lots of rodent droppings around the internal soil pipe and there is a big gap between the concrete floor and pipe. Also quite a draft.
The construction of the floor is block and beam with a pretty thick screed on top, which looks very grainy, almost like grey tarmac.
Can I pour concrete around the pipe to seal it off or will the concrete corrode the pipe over time?
Thanks,
Matt
