Hi all,

Got a problem with my Ferroli Modena 102. It was working fine until I switched the mains power off to carry out some electrical work.
Turning the power back on and the timer module shows 'F02' on the display and none of the buttons seem to work.
To be honest the timer has been a bit dodgy and I couldn't always get the times changed etc.
I'm guessing that its just the timer that has bitten the dust as the boiler is not showing any warning lights etc and the DHW is OK.

Any ideas?

These are notorious for going when turning off supply, have u pressed the reset button with a pen or similar? Sit down when u get a price for a new one!

Can I temporarily bypass the timer module so i can get the heating working?

Yes you can take a pic of back of timer and i can tell you what to link out cant remember of top of my head what numbers it is

Here's a pic of the timer...

Bizarrely after knocking off the power for a while again and turning it back on it is working again ! Will be good to know how to bypass is though as its only a matter of time....

Thanks

fitted a ferroli modena 3 months ago, it was leaking from the inside after 8 weeks, guy came and had a look said it was an air lock. it is still leaking badly and rusting like mad, but they refuse to answer my calls or emails. It is properly registered and commissioned. Is there anything legally i can do for my customer? Will advise everyone, do not touch ferroli, I was warned and i stupidly did not listen. They deny it is leaking but have said that i can fix it if i want, (strange thing to say if it is not leaking).
