Ah, who knows! The original fitment BB10621AC isn't even listed on the current SKF bearings product list. So I've ordered the cheapies. If this dryer works again for a tenner I'll be very happy.

Back together and working fine. Fitting the new bearings was simple compared to levering the drum back in.
Motor running smooth and quietly and everything else looked in good nick. Dryer might go for another 8 years now!

Ha, new bearings didn't last 8 years, just another 5. Same problem again, so did a search and first result was my own solution from 5 yrs ago!!
Ha! Are you going to apply the same fix? Let us know how you get on. Five years isn't bad at all for that cheap fix.
