Hi guys.

Before Xmas I had a bunch of work done on our heating system. One of the things we had fixed was a new Honeywell 3 port valve. Since we had it installed, in the mid position (heating and hot water) it ticks / clicked once evey second or so. Heating and hot water is working fine. I had to get a plumber around for something else and asked his advice. He was able to look at the ticking valve and thought that it was possibly a faulty 3 port valve. He recommended gett ing a new one. Well this weekend I got a new one and lo and behold it is still ticking.

So This must be to do with the wiring. Has anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this??

Thanks in advance.

Did you replace the whole valve or just the powerhead?
2 valves in 3 months is a bit hard to understand.

Just the power head. I don't think it is the 3 port valve itself. I think the wiring could be wrong.

Thanks.
