How to joint worktop?

I've got a laminated chipboard worktop to cut and install.

It is a right angled internal corner.

I've got a jig for my router to make the cuts, but I'm wondering what the best way to actually join it is.

I'll be making the light bulb shaped cuts underneath to take joining bolts. Is this sufficient on it's own?

I was wondering if the joint should be glued to prevent water ingress? If so what glue would be best to use?

Also would I be best to biscuit the joint to keep the two top faces completely level or is this not required?

Better to use either a matching Colorfil jointing compound or an appropriate coloured silicon sealant at the joint surface IMHO. If you feel the need then spread a bit of D4 PVA at the bottom of the joint

I tend not to - if there is even the smallest degree of warp across the width of the top (and there frequently is) biscuits can make it impossible to line-up the joint properly across it's width

grahams,alsfords or places like that.

when i do worktops i do use my buscuit jointer and poly glue and the bushboard filler,
look on youtube for info on it theres a good video,very strong stuff and wont crack like color fill.
