Ok, so 2 years ago I bought a victoria plumb shower on eBay.
Looks great and has worked well until now.
Now I need to get hold of a new cartridge, VP have been next to useless, and the only one I managed to find the price was eye watering!

I have decided its time for a new shower mixer,
It needs to be well made, but more importantly if I need spares they need to be available, and reasonably priced.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks

All cartridges are pricey but if you can actually get them its a huge bonus.....Grohe, Mira, Aqualisa for me.

Grohe showers are Carp.
Best thing you can do is fit a cheap bar mixer. When it fails swap it for a new one. Dirt cheap and no big ugly plumbers needed.

It doesn't seem to make a lot of difference these days as it appears that everything is cr@p whatever the price. It will still scale up/ go stiff/ leak etc. I can only go by my Aqualisa shower which has been in for around 10 years without problems.

Avoid anything Plumbsure from B&Queue
