I have bought a shower and it has these connectors (pics).

Can anyone confirm how i connect the copper pipe into the connector. As i understand it, this will be done by solder. But in the kit there is a 15mm olive which is useless without a nut and is confusing me.

So the pipe goes into the back of the connector and is soldered in and at the front i have these adapters which take the chrome covers and the actual shower unit.

Is this correct ? Thanks.

Lol, the chrome threaded part is the nut.

Take the chrome threaded part off, insert fitting into the pipe with olive, put chrome threaded part back on and seal.

I see, got you.

Well I will attach the bits all up with the pipingand mark off as you say. The i will plaster over ready for tiling after testing.

these were free with the shower, so i thought it was a good deal. £40 for a shower and these fixings. Those fixing bars are £20 on their own.
