hi any one use one of these .one of the pros ha ha .. looking for a tool that can help or guide ...with straight line unfortunately on a roof ..if possible ..normally use a string line but cant be used .. this time unfortunately ... for solar panels. many thanks again :)

No laser level will be visible outside (during day time) sorry
 
Some red filtered glasses may enhance a red laser line. Otherwise a chalk line.

hi , belive me m8 panls 40 odd meter long anit easy to keep straight m8 slightest bit drop or rise starts to get ugly at the end and gaps start to get wider up above lol overhangs essential as well m8 have to be right ..

Some lasers have a lay down facility. We use the Leica Rugby 280dg construction laser.
That will keep everything dead straight and no need for lines.

But solar panels sit at an angle so roof dips might cause a discrepancy whilst in laydown mode.
