Hi,

Have the above alarm system. It's been wired to the lighting circuit and I needed do some work so was disabled for about 30 mins.

Now it's showing a bell symbol and chirping occasionally. Also when I set it, as soon as I put the code in the alarm sounds and displays 'personal attack' on the screen.

There is a PA switch in the house, is it push to make or break incase it's gone faulty.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,
Mark

Normally close device, turning off the power should not affect the pa button, how old is the back up battery ?

I'll test the switch when I get home. No idea about the battery, alarm was here when we moved in about 4 years ago now. Probably worth replacing by now I'd imagine, I'll get it swopped out over the weekend and check again.

Thanks for the help !

Best bet is open main panel down power system , link out the pa zone and power back up with a new battery , if this is clear re-fit panic alarm and recheck system. 90% of all faults are caused by faulty back up batteries

Damaged cable, looks like a wee mouse has had it's way with it ! Strange that the power off set it in motion tho.
