Oso indirect 20 ri.....noise

I have the above water tank, the heating is off with hot water set to a timer. Nothing is on at night but it sounds like the tank or a pump is working all night in the airing cupboard.
The Immersion heater is off.
If anyone can offer advise I would appreciate it, thank,you.

Check to see if you have a bronze (yellow colour) pump fitted somewhere.

By Emerson, I presume you mean immersion and not Keith Emerson who tends to be more associated with Greg Lake and Carl Palmer than with plumbing & heating.
