Hi.

I've recently bought a second hand Hilti cordless drill off a friend, but he had broken the charger and it now doesn't work.

He told me that it can be charged with any battery charger, it just needs to be hooked up properly.

I've just had a look and can only find someone charging it with something called a Turnigy charger.

Is there a way of me charging it with another drill charger I have?

Cheers.

Obviously the voltage required by the battery and that delivered by the charger must be the same.
The current output of the charger determines the charging time interval, and that's really anyone's guess!

Apart from the electrical side of things already covered by John, how are you going to "hook the battery up" if it doesn't physically fit in the charger and so make connection with the contacts? All the ones I've seen appear to be deliberately designed to stop accidental use of the wrong charger, or easy connection by any means except inserting the correct battery.
Incidentally using the wrong voltage charger could cause the battery or charger to be damaged, or even catch fire or explode!

if they are li ion batteries do not try to charge them other than by the correct charger as they can explode or catch fire if wrongly charged

As it's a Hilti, I'd be trying very hard to sort a correct charger......best drills of all time.
