So much choice out there, but I've been well chuffed with my Hitachi Li-ion 18v, courtesy Screwfix.......its had some real grief for years now.
John :)

Sure, that's pretty close but mine is an earlier model with no work light and it cost nearer the ton.
I have to say, its used (cruelly) on steel most of the time and shows no sign of retiring yet!
Hammer drill wise, its ok but naturally enough can struggle on hard, dense stuff such as paving flags.
Personally, I'd definitely buy another, but some folks like De Walt, Makita et al.
Millwaukie seems to be popular too.

If I was buying nowadays, I'd go for a nice light compact 10.8v unit. I hardly use any of the bigger heavier units now.

i purchased the bosch blue 10.8 oscillating saw in kit box the old sort off box fully moulded sort
i managed to squeeze in
oscillating saw

impact drill
recip saw

inspection camera
charger 6 batteries
measuring tape
2 small cases with blades and assorted bits:D
all in a box for a 18v combi drill and impact combination

See too many cases of battery failure with De Walt.
I find this company very good to deal with and always well priced, as you can see.

I can go along with that. One of the two 18V batteries that came with my DeWalt can't hold its charge beyond about 5 minutes!
I'd buy a new battery, but they cost almost the same as a new drill.
