Hi all, are jewson prices available online? I wanted to know the price of their makita RT0700 kit but can't find a price?

thanks ntb. Seems a strange way to operate these days! If we had to ring up every company to compare prices that would be a time consuming chore. Last night I spotted and compared something on ebay, no chance of ringing companies at that hour, but I liked the price and ordered it there and then, job done.

Prices are pretty variable too depending on who you are. I just avoid them. Too much hassle for me as an occasional customer.

Yes, it bugs me too. I think the very reason they don't publish prices is because they vary them depending on who you are. I can't be arsed with them any more - it makes putting quotes together for customers far too time consuming. Their consumables like fixings and screws are at rip off prices - I think they're just living off existing trade accounts.

Same goes for Keyline too!
Shelf price on a bag of nails is like £20, aye ok

you have to be on the ball with those companies, even if youve got an account and have bought the same thing before

I think they must be laundering money because the prices they charge they obviously don't want customers.

I have always found them to be very expensive for near on everything i've had to buy there at the time, even with account prices. I always try and avoid them now.

A 110mm double socket soil pipe bend was something ridiculous like £10.20, with my discount! You can get them for about £6 in the likes of Toolstation. But sometimes you have no choice

Jewson building supplies (junction street Carlisle in this instance) supplied 400 bricks all with cracks and damaged faces, the manager of jewson INSISTS the bricks are supposed to be like that ROFLMAO

PLEASE SEE PHOTO AND BE WARNED OF JEWSON BUILDING SUPPLIES.

Yeah, looks like the pallet went down with a wack. I had the same thing, similar cracks but on a large number of blocks. Luckily they replaced them

was in one of their branches the other day, paid over the odds for what I needed. (had no real choice) im in the market for some new spade bits, looked at there Irwin range, £42.00 for a set of 5! ad rather struggle with blunt bits! total rip off as far as im concerned! in future I would rather travel further when up against it, Than pay there prices.

That's because their prices are massively discounted for account customers. Any unsuspecting passer-by pays the marked price unless they ask for their best discount.
