Related to an earlier post in italic below I have added a high mounted klaxon. I want to be able to run the klaxon for 5 minutes only. So; picallo first (for 15 minutes). Then outside box and klaxon together one minute later but box for 15 minutes and klaxon for 5.

picallo is op1 klaxon is op2.

I'm also interested in opinions and bell run times. I am semi rural. Nearest neighbour 1/2 mile.

As always help is appreciated, thanks.

I have currently wired the panel with the Outside Bell Box coming off the bell outputs on the board. I have the internal Picollo coming from -OP1 and to +12V.

Everything is fine but on alarm they both sound at the same time. I would prefer to have only the internal on first. Is there a way of delaying the outside bell to come on 1 minute later?

I have wintex software and a laptop connection to the panel. I've stabbed around in Global delay and RKP delay but no joy so far.

Would have to have a play.

The issue is the bell delay will delay every bell signal by what ever the system is programmed to.

Do you have any spare areas, zones and outputs?
Also do you have a panel speaker?

Hi. Thanks for your interest. Yes I have plenty of spare outputs and zones.

I'm happy for bell and blaster to start together (1 min after internal ). Just want to turn off blaster after 5 mins as it a bit OTT.

I am thinking of along the lines:-

1. you can program at output as speaker mimic, it should fire when the speaker would fire, however if this is connected to the panel, I would turn it off for everything other than alarms, if your already using the speaker this may not be suitable and it wouldn't follow the bell timers as far as I am aware (the duration of the sounding needs to be verified). internal sounder programmed and the external bell.

2. then you can use output as bell sab, and program the delay and timer length.

If this doesn't work, we can cheat a little.
so that when the bell sounds initially an output as bell sab, wired into a zone in a different area fires that zone and triggers that area into alarm.

you program the bell output for sab and this new area
in global set to bell area timers option 05, then program the area timers as required

Just one now. You have helped me before and I did have multi areas for outbuildings but it got too confusing for the family on the panel arming/dissarming. So I put them on their own systems.

The simplest thing to try then would the speaker mimic for internal and for outside bell, and then the klaxon on the bell output, and use the timers to control delay and duration.

you would have to test it to see exactly how it behaves. This way once setup you don't have any other areas for the family to worry about.

The issue you have the bell outputs can have the timers changed, but anything programed for the bell will follow that timer, either global or area if you choose area timers. You cant have one on a global and one on an area timer unfortunately (cant think how to at least), but you could have them separate areas, but if they are on separate areas you need both areas to be triggered for them to sound.

if the internal speaker is on alarm, outputs on speaker mimic, and that turns off after 15 minutes your in the clear, as you can use the bell output to control the klaxon times.

firing the output at the same time is easy, keeping 1 running and the other switching off is the harder part.

so we have to separate them out in some way. so we have independent control

I suppose you could look at a delayed timer relay, to place between the panels out and the master blaster relay?

Thanks for your thoughts on this, I think your last point is probably the best solution - explore the options of controlling the duration on the 230 side.
