Hi all

I've just bought a old style ex council house, It's needing totally refurbed. Ware we are there Is no gas supply so iam thinking of putting oil heating in with a external combi boiler. There's the old style electric heaters in at the moment but iam wanting them gone.

Can anyone give me some advice on boilers, heating. Should we have a external or internal boiler?? I have a header tank in my bedroom up stairs but I would like that gone for more space.

Ive had a quote for a Vortex boiler but I haven't read many good reviews about them.

Any advice would be appreciated

Kind regards
Calum

Probably a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Heatslave
Internal if you have room.
For radiator sizing have heat loss calcs done and if possible prior to that have the walls and loft space insulated and double glazing installed, if not already done to suitable standard?

If you're looking for an oil fired combi it has to be a Worcester Heatslave. The latest model is streets ahead of the rest and there is a 5 year guarantee available.
