New plastered ceiling

Hi,when mistcoating a new plastered ceiling I've always cut in all the ceiling first then rolled,but have seen some roll first then cut in have I been doing it wrong ordoes it not make a difference which way you do it

No you do it right. You get different textures with roller and brush, so by rollering last you will get the greater area done with a roller to give you the uniform finish you are looking for.
