Gas valve change profile 80 41-590-53. Will it fit ?

Job today on a profile 80, pilot coming on but no main gas. I can hear the main gas solenoid operate (100%) valve fitted is a SIT830, I have a new white Rogers valve . just wondering if anyone knows if its a straight swap or will I need the spacer I sometimes see at the end of the valve. Thanks in advance.

Where did you manage to pick up a white Rogers valve?
Obsolete now.

Found 2 of them in my spares (probably from when I worked for British Gas (rip off company) for 18 years) !! Part no 907702 . pretty sure new ones on eBay.

The White Rogers are so rare it would probably be better to sell them and buy an SIT830 valve!
