Stuck on PCB for extractor hood. Can an expert help?

That looks like a dry joint probably due to lead free solder so best to use leaded solder to repair it I see all the time on modern equipment.

Yup... nothing odd about that fault at all, just remake the joint as suggested making sure that its securely soldered on. I would do a re-solder of all the PCB connections white I had the iron out...

Leaded solder is hard to get these days. I wouldn't worry about it, just buy whatever Maplins have when you get that soldering iron. While you're at it, I'd glue the wire to the other side of the board so there's no mechanical strain on the solder joint. A blob of silicone would do.
