Does Vaillant 10 year warranty deal expire Feb 29th?

Hi

I've just received a quote for a Vaillant Eco TEC plus 832. I was told that there's a 10 year warranty on this at present but the deal runs out on Feb 29th. I just wanted to check if this was the case or not.

Yes it does, they kept extending it last year, we have now been told it will reduce on Feb 29th definitely to a graded warranty. We believe customer will be offered to extend it beyond 5 years at a cost. We don't know costs etc yet

Go for an Intergas EcoRF - the ten year warranty on that will be continuing for the forseeable future, and IMHO it's a better boiler
