Trade with EU

Ahh answering a question with a question,,,,,, How quaint. (and still not an answer)
Check the dates.

He already knows it is untrue, because of the Swiss Banking commitment.

Why not? The question is reasonable, given that you are saying if we leave the EU we still have to abide by their rules (as applied to EU countries) . It's obvious China (a big trading partner with the EU) doesn't. I think you can see the point being made. If we leave the EU, then we're no longer a member of the EU and so are free to make a deal with them (such as China already has) Have the EU forced China to accept changes to their banking system? I think not.

Since this is not a thread about Australia, or Sri Lanka, or Madagascar or anywhere else you find on your globe, I have no need to enter into discussions about them
But you have. I have asked you why the EU doesn't impose it's EU rules on countries that it trades with outside the EU,,,, and all you can answer is that the Swiss Bankers accept EU rules?? Strange that you have no clever answer for us and continue to obfuscate, by mentioning Hong Kong and Northern plumbers.

Do you attempt to claim that the UK would not have to do the same?
Maybe if the restrictions demanded by the EU are unacceptable, the U.K. should have the courage to stand up and be counted and just refuse.
that's good, you have at last admitted that you do know why an non-EU country wishing to trade with the EU may be obliged to follow EU rules, and not just in relation to trade with the EU.

It's a shame you felt the need to pretend you didn't know
But apparently, it's somehow different when it would come to the U.K. trading with the EU.... Don't ask me how

As you say, a country not wishing to trade with the EU need not take on that obligation. But the more than half the UK's trade is with the EU. Do you seriously recommend that the UK should abandon it?

On a similar note, any country wishing to trade with the UK must comply with UK requirements, I do hope that the EU countries can comply otherwise we will find someone who does..

Good for you! It's great to know you anti-EU campaigners have got something up your sleeve!

Where do you suggest? Zimbabwe? Khazakstan? It must be a large and wealthy area that we haven't already tried trading with. I'm sure PBC has some suggestions as well, as he suggested dumping the EU. We need to replace about 55% of our export markets.

How many Rolls-Royces do you anticipate selling, and will this exceed the current exports to EU?

Do tell me, why didn't we try trading with them before?

As far as I'm aware, before we joined the trading club that became the EU, we did trade with many other countries (and still do) I'm sure after reading your answers, Barack Obama is going to insist that we start using US dollars as our currency. China will no doubt insist that all communications with them are in Mandarin. Russia will want payment in roubles and Australians will insist that any trade agreement with them includes the words, "Strewth cobber" and we call all our women "Sheila's"

Just as a guide, Rolls Royce sales in the EU for 2015 were flat whilst sales in South Korea, and the Middle East considerably... Even UK sales increased. Well done guys!
Personally I'm a Bentley man but have mixed feelings about the Bentayga but it will be the choice of rich Russians and will be popular in the up and coming Kazakhstan when the price of oil increases

I thought they were German companies.
VW Made the Phaeton, a great car with a great engine and dull as ditchwater and sold a handful ...Gave it to the chaps at Crewe, they improved everything about it, redesigned the body, interior and engine. Result the Continental GT...The car flies out through the door. Bentley may be German owned but the British craftsmen made it great again...
Have you guys heard that TVR are on their way back? :):):):)

The comment is totally irrelevant to the discussion.
It has absolutely no bearing on the debate...yet.....
I'm amazed at this poster's utter distortion of reality to the point of ludicrous lies:
Strong sales were reported worldwide, with double-digit growth in most regions, North America (up 30%), the Middle East (up 20%) and Europe (up 40%).
Europe saw strong growth in a number of markets with Germany up by 30%,
https://www.press.rolls-roycemotorc...cars-celebrates-fifth-successive-sales-record
EU recorded the largest increase!
Notably UK sales figures were also up although only by 13%, but is still in EU, at least when I last looked. So he's included an argument against his own assertion in the same comment! How stupid is that!
You cannot believe an iota of the claims made by this poster. He imagines facts, figures and data to support his argument without an ounce of substantiation or validation. I can take more or less any of his comments and refute them with real data from real companies reports!
He is the combination of the worst of Boris and Nigel
Or to use more descriptive initials: BJ and NF!

If you are a genuine Brexiter, you'd do well to disassociate with someone who is so willingly deceitful and duplicitous.

Nowt worse than trying to kid folk with out of date data Himaginn... What year was you info from? Oh yes, 2014!

Mine was from 2015 and in 2015 EU sales for Rolls Royce Motors was flat.. No increase, Niet, Nada, Nein.

Hello, Davie. How many cars does Rolls-Royce export, and how many of them go to the EU?

Does Hong Kong have to obey Chinese land ownership laws?

Why do semi-retired Northern plumbers drink heavily?
I see he won't actually answer the questions, though.

Then show us from where you got your data!
You just invented it!
I realise I'm wasting my time, but the request remains.
