salus wireless intermittently working

Hi, i would be grateful for any help on a problem im having with my salus wireless thermostat. It has been working fine for 2 years. Then 2 nights ago the heating would not go off. I turned temp down on thermostat but it would not turn on heating. I had to switch heating off on boiler.

I then turned the reciever on and off, pressed "reset" on thermostate and the thermostate started working fine for a few hours then same problem. When i reset it and turn receiver on and off its fine for a couple of hours.

Would i be correct in assuming the thermostat or receiver is faulty? Ive tried changing channels by putting pins in different slots but same problem.

Would be grateful for any advise.

Have you tried new batteries ?

I did try new batteries, only changed them 3 weeks ago, but i put in the cheap ones you get from poundland, u know the pack of about 45 batteries for £1. Il try some duracell!

Just tried some new duracell batteries but same problem!
