I am looking to install a Trevi Boost shower. I am going for the exposed one at the moment as I need to get the bath in ASAP, but the shower can wait.

I don't really want to chase the wall, even though it would be neater, due to having to do that while the bath is out. So I was looking at the exposed shower, running 22mm chrome pipes and putting pipe collars around the bases where they pass through the edge of the bath.

Only problem is - according to Ideal Standards technical image, the pipes are 36mm centre to centre. What can I use apart from plain old silicon?

Whatever you do, it's going to look awful having pipework running through the bath deck and trying to seal it will look even worse.

Bite the bullet - it's a small amount of work to chase in for the pipework while you've got the bath out.

Have you got a combi boiler,if so why not consider thermostatic bath/shower mixer taps, then there will be no pipework

Don't want to run new pipes for a mixer plus wire in a pump.

Had electric shower before but can't afford to upgrade the 6mm cable and other electrical work that needs doing to comply.

So going venturi - just need to run pipes from the bath supplies.

22mm hot and 15mm cold mains with 3.5-4 bar pressure.
