As above!
My old Earlex recently gave up the ghost after long and hard service, needed a replacement straight away so got a Titan (the big version) from Screwfix,I'm not really impressed with the quality, plenty of power, but a very flimsy hose for trade use,and the filter looks like a pasper element, although Screwfix sell replacements that might be washable.
Just wondered what everyone else uses?Don't really need the wet function.
Thanks.

For a general purpose superb vac, consider the good 'ole Henry - plus plenty of spare bags from ebay.
For genuine industrial, either Stihl or KEW Numatic does it for me.

An Old Henry !!

New Model Vacuum Cleaners are subject to EU Regulations regarding energy consumption and are limited in power,
in other words they are useless.
over the last few years the power of Vacuum cleaners have been reduced so by 2017 the maximum power will be 900watts.

Thanks everyone! Just what I needed, only concern with a Henry is if it gets a bit of damp as I'm hoovering up,not a puddle or anything, but you know how it is sometimes!

Trade, but 230 volt? For proper site use you are legally required to have a class-M vacuum these days, and the dear old Henry simply doesn't hack it; too small, poor filtration, etc. We have Hilti vacuums from the firm, but I'm less than impressed. I use a Metabo ASR35M - meets the HSE requirements and outperforms even the Fein and Festool vacuums

Thanks j&K I am a big fan of metabo - after sales second to none,so I'll be checking them out. Don't do any site work these days thank heavens, too many cold, muddy, dark Januaries!
