Hi,

A while ago I had disabled this doorbell (photo below from weblink) due to a nuisance person pressing it. I did this by deattaching one wire (the one with grey tape round the end). I never noted which screw I de-attached the wire from. Now I want to wire it back and have a choice of bottom left screw, bottom right screw or top right screw. I don't know which one it is. Does anyone know which one I should wire it to? The installation piece of paper is long since gone. Thanks!

It's an electromechanical bell, isn't it? Ask a friend to press the button while you touch the wire to each one.

I'd go with number 3 too, you don't need chocky block as you can use the other two terminals (linked) for this.

They might be the switch that makes it go ding dong ding dong ding dong ~~~~~~~~ for as long as the button is pressed instead of just ding when it pressed and dong when it is released. ( why they are linked is a mystery )
