Old Dishwasher Stored for 1 year - will it work?

Hi there,
Last summer we had a new kitchen and replaced what was only a 9 month old Slimline Neff Dishwasher with a full size one. I never got round to selling / giving it away, and just kept in the cupboard outside the front of the house. (Its like an old coalstore, so more like outside temperature than room temperature)
If i sold it now, would it still work?

Only way is to test it. Circulation pump might have seized up.

Thanks v much, is there any way to test it without plumbng back in? ie with a pipe in the back garden? thanks

Connect the inlet pipe to outside tap make sure you raise the waste pipe up a metre high to stop it siphoning.

Biggest risk would have been from frost. If it froze, water jnsude the pump may have turned to ice and cracked the casing. My guess is that it will work perfectly.

Damp in the motor windings may cause a leak to earth. If it trips the electrics then bring it inside and try to dry out the unit.
