AEG Favorit Dishwasher. Help....

Hi all,

I wondered if anyone could help. My dishwasher has been on the blink for a couple of weeks now. The problem was/is:

Wasn't draining. Ladeled the water out, dried it out- still water. Had back off the washer- took out the pump, all clean and fine. no blockages (what i could find).

Now the pump has a low whirrling sound like its constantly on. Wont rinse on a programme just flashes/blinks and doesn't do anything now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems the pump is constantly on..... But no water to pump.....

Sounds like you got a leak in the base of the dishwasher. The anti flood system has kicked in. Tip it up see if water comes out of the base.

Hi, No leak what so ever. no water. The polystyrene part is dry too...
