Hi everyone, bathroom lampshade has fallen apart and needs replacing.

I need a lampshade for the bathroom and the piece that holds it in place, it looks like a cone around a dog/cat neck and screws on, I've been unsuccessful to guess what this part is nor do there seem to be a lot of options online short of replacing the whole fitting which the current one has multiple live and neutral connections whereas a replacement is only single screw connections and will be extremely fiddly to get three in one... twice.

What's the cone holder part called? Can you still get these? You probably can't see in the picture but it's split into two.

Will also need to find a white or pink lampshade similar to old one to go on it as well, which a quick search doesn't show much like it.

Any electrical dept of a DIY superstore will stock these units, they are pretty standard. Take the old piece with you to match up. If you are not competent in doing this yourself get an electrician in. Remember always to turn the power supply off at the consumer unit and test before you put your hands anywhere near it.

You should really have a steam proof fitting in a bathroom.
No such requirement on ceiling.
It depends on the ceiling height & the use of a batten lamp holder suggests the ceiling is low, but if the fitting is being replaced then it makes sense to use steam proof type, that were not available when that wiring & was installed. Especially when I doubt it has RCD protection.
