Drilling Hollow Section T&G soffit.

Hi, can you drill hollow soffitt ok for the 70mm vents with a hole saw, or does it shatter. I've only ever done it with solid board in the past.

A fine tooth one, or a diamond/tungsten carbide tile hole saw

Bear in mind the vents will be a tad loose. Something about putting vents in hollow they are never tight even with the right hole cutter. Weird.
