1 blue
2 white
3 green
4 yellow
5 black
6 red

Should be fine

Hi...musszzy...done that but now the alarm wont set?? ..when I try to set the alarm the three zones just keep on lighting up on the panel with a sort of rapid bleeping noise...and the pir,s are not lighting up when movement is detected........ any suggestions

would not that stop the whole panel working ?? or just part of it?? it is still lit up with power light on

Control panels have separate fuse for power to bell box, detectors etc.
What is your control panel ?
If you have blown the fuse it will need replacing before your alarm will work.
Take picture of old pir wiring and post, also what is the make of new pir.
You could have a wiring issue or you could have just blown fuse when changing pir.
Most fuses are 20 mm quick blow glass fuses, but the rating could be different.500ma ,1amp etc

This is the picture I took before removing it, not sure what the make is as it was fitted when I moved in ... the new make is Pyronix ME Q blue 12m PIR detector
