Hi All,

First of all, hats off to all pro tilers, it is hard hard graft!!!

I bought a very nearly new TS60 off of eBay and to get me started had a job in my wife's aunts lean too (a whole world of pain). I lost so many tiles on cuts as the breaker would shatter the tile on the right hand side - this never happened when I was at college, is it me or the cutter (am assuming it's me but what am I doing wrong!?). The tiles were 300 X 300 ceramic floor tiles, nothing that I haven't cut before without any issues!?!?

Many thanks

Mike

New wheel is your best bet. Double check the breaker is in good nick. You can order the breakers from the Web and I know a buddy of mine gets his Rubi bits from Topps Tiles.

Thanks, will start with a new wheel, have tried some different tiles and they broke fine, very odd. Hope it's not the breaker as the machine does look nearly new, will be a bit gutted if I have to replace all the parts!!

The job was tiling a lean to using tiles that were bought 15 years ago, it was the majority of these tiles that broke, could they have deteriorated through frost damage or something?

Thanks again,

Mike.
