He wasn't very helpful. All that we menge to find out was that when switching on the boost the top immersion heater gets the power supply but doesn't seem to heat the water. Looks like the bottom one doesn't get the supply at all. If that makes sense. Will have to get a professional to come and have a look at it

Oh, alright.

As far as I can see, that is the only single fault which would cause both elements to stop working.

Therefore it would appear that there is more than one fault.

did he turn the clock so the light for off peak came on before checking for power on the bottom heater?
You can only have power to one heater at a time.
 
Good evening to all. I'm still waiting for the professional to come over and have a look at my immersion heater problem. It's not as easy to find someone as one would think.
Today I got really angry and started to tern the time around over and over again. At some point the off peak light come on (yey) hover it's only lighting up when set between 5 and 2 am witch is wrong obviously. I left it like that for the moment but what doas this tell me?
Any answer hugely appreciated
