boiler low pressure, doesnt have filling loop?

Hello
My boiler has really low pressure bellow 0.5 bar, the hot water is working fine with pressure like this but heating not, if i put a heating on boiler overheats and shuts itself down because of low pressure. I looked in all obvious places for filling loop but cant seem to find one (unless its been plastered in a wall or something). Read the manual and it suggested to twist this screw but no luck (last picture) still stayed the same.

boiler is ideal sprint 80f.

Any suggestions how can i increase pressure are welcome. Thank you.

Look in your loft for a header tank, you will probably find it empty!!??

don't have a loft or header tank for that matter, i live in a 1 bedroom purpose build flat.

Yours is a very ancient boiler that could be filled with a closed header tank.

Have a good look to see if there is no mains filling loop attached to the pipe work.

Check in the loft, there may be a make up tank. This may have dried out due to ball
valve being jammed closed.

If there is make up tank then also check that any non return valve is not blocked.

That screw on the front is to do with the gas pressure and you should not alter it. It
is not to do with water pressure.

In that case you still may have a make up tank at a high point like in a high
cupboard.

no unfortunately don't have high cupboard either, or any other possible location for make up tank.

The"Aerjec" shown fitted under your boiler indicates that the boiler is fed by a header tank, therefore you need to trace the two pipes that are on the left and side of this fitting to locate the header tank, the bottom pipe is the feed from the tank and the top one the expansion pipe.

i see all that side of wall are plastered in but i think it is hollow, so it might bee something in there. is it worth ripping it appart?

It seems that you have no option, is it you property to rip apart?

Whilst the aerjec is an indicator that it may be fed from a F&E cistern the MI states that it is a sealed boiler unless otherwise discussed with the manufacturer, that and it seems the blow off pipe is connected. That being the case, and the fact that you could have either a make up tank or an capped inlet where the mains could be connected, I'd be tracing where the pipe coming into the air separator from the left comes from, there may be a make up tank at the top of your building.

If still no joy, I'd be getting someone in to look at it for you. Is it your flat, if not get the landlord to sort it out.
