Hi guys. After some help, wondering if anyone knows what could be causing a recently plastered and painted wall to chalk bubble and stay damp in different areas..

The outside wall has had that insulation and render treatment you see a lot these days but it's been a year now and my wall inside still isn't drying out...

Any ideas what the cause could be and how yo resolve??

If I understand you:
Its been a year since you had the external face of that wall insulated and rendered?
You have since had the internal surface stripped back to bare brick, and plastered with a gypsum backing coat and a skim coat, and when it appeared to be dry it was painted?

I presume that its a solid wall?
What issues were there before you insulated and rendered?
Is there any condensation in that room?
Can you post photos of the exterior, and a whole wall view in the room?
Do you have a name for the insulation and render?
