hi I have just replaced the shower pump on my shower and as we had re modelled the bathroom. at the same time I changed the shower to a low profile one ,now when we have a shower its can overflow the tray. What can I do to improve the water draining away, the floor is now tiled but it had a 40mm waste pipe ? Any ideas please
Thanks Cliff

1) Clean out the shower trap
2) Redesign the waste run so it flows properly
3) Increase to a high flow rate trap
4) Buy a new tray with a 90mm high flow waste and trap

Nothing else will really increase it I'm afraid, you may have to decide to either live with it or sort it out.

Thanks, may have to wait until after Christmas as the floor will have to come up.

Or fit a restrictor in the shower head to limit water flow - but that kind of defeats the objective of the shower pump.
Do you need a shower pump ?

Hi yes we needed a shower pump but now it's almost a pressure washer effect, where can I get a restrictor as it sounds the quickest option if not expensive.
Thanks for the advice

Don't turn the shower on full when you're using it? Free fix!

Got one at the weekend yes works perfect now, no longer flooding the bathroom and saving money also. Thanks for all the advice.
