Hi All,

Parents Lavatherm 620 Dryer has stopped working - Power On/Off suddenly became Intermittent then stopped completely.

I have remove the Button/Switch pack from the front which appears to be a DREEFS unit - four push buttons plus one illuminated.

The On/Off switch seems to have failed - disassembly suggests a missing spring as two contacts in the switch appear to have "Fallen out" - they would have been retained in the sliding movement of the switch by a small compression spring but on closer inspection it looks like one could have worn slightly which resulted in them falling out. I can't see the spring anywhere !

Only ID on the actual complete pack that might identify appears to be a large "T85" and a smaller "3545/12". The switch bodies have slightly different profiles but the Power On has "3547/12"

Not much luck at the moment finding anything online but wondering if anybody might recognise the numbers or have any info that might help - appreciate its probably 25-30 year vintage so not holding much hope but any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Freddy

Have you tried Maplins or RS for a similar switch, a pic might help.
