For the second time in the last month the boiler wouldn't fire up on CH. The wireless roomstat is showing a heat demand and the indicator on the receiver is on. HW works fine.

The pressure level is fine and there are no error codes shown when the relevant buttons are pushed.

On both occasions I switch the boiler off and then back on again and everything works fine.

Any ideas on what is happening or is there a fault which is not being shown?

If there is a fault then I will have to, but I like to understand what's going on.

You would need to electrically test the connections at the wireless receiver to see if it is really giving an output to the heating system.

Without knowing anything about your system and boiler that's as much as I can say.

I wondered whether it might be the receiver but it's not being switched off when I switch the boiler off which seems to get rid of the problem.

I'll test it out tomorrow just to make sure though.

Switch the receiver off and back on test it out as well. As the boiler is receiving a voltage or signal from the receiver to tell it to switch on the heating, although switching it on and off resolves the issue, I suspect it's a red herring.

just by pass the receiver when you take the cover off to eliminate the receiver
I did press the i button but no fault codes came up.
the S codes is not fault codes , its simply telling you what the boiler is doing

Bolier is an EcoTec plus 827 and the wireless programmer is an iflow Digistat.
