UFH Pipes - clip spacing

useful comments from a few I don't think. I've provided info in the text and as "experts" in this field I would have thought id get some good feedback not sarcastic comments such as the above. I've been in building for a very long time, I'm not an idiot and I demand good workmanship for me and my customer. Will wait for further sarcastic comments on that. They also, according to the manufacturer of the pipe they laid, used the wrong pipe for the job. It will be ok and do the job but its way too inflexible for the installation they have fixed in hence the pipes on the bends, which were laid in at way too tight, have had to be stamped down with the foot, have squashed the castellation's and the pipes being too inflexible will not sit down flat and are sticking up . Still a good job is it? Also found a very nice neat Stanley blade cut in my membrane following exactly the edge of the plastic mating showing that they cut this flat on the floor on my protective membrane ! No attention to detail, no care taken, shoddy job. However thanks to all those that tried to help

Just out of interest is that John Guest pipe?

I assume the client employed the services of the UFH company and went for a cheap price. Pay peanuts....
Most builders I know sub in ufh contractors with a known reputation.

I agree totally but they had already been contracted even before I went to view the house to price up. Same with the windows and doors which has also turned into a bit of a disaster :(
Good news is the screed is in so all done. Screeders did a wonderful job. No floaty pipes and all looks go so we move on:) Frightening thing is these people wernt cheap at all ! and for a company that turns up on the day of fitting with a pipe layout plan which I had been requesting for god knows how long, had to ensure our structural work could accommodate their layout, their cost was way over the top.

Yeah fine Dan !! expected a F@@@@@g answer like that from a so called "expert" !! I hope don't get the same response if you visit the builders section. Certainly wouldn't have you on my building site with an attitude like that, youre here to help arnt you ? not give people hassle and belittle them. I asked for help not for a stream of sarcastic comments. If youre a gas engineer then youre in the right trade mate as youre full of gas !! Moron !!!

As I said thanks to all who tried to help with this and I will treat the other comments with the contempt they deserve. Issue concluded
