Hi All
I am wondering what the recommended way of feeding towel rail radiators is currently, there seems to be a lot of conflicting opinion out there.

We will have three radiators in two ensuite and a family bathroom, the rest of the house is heated via underfloor heating.

The two options I am wondering about are...
1. Fed from the secondary return on the DHW system. Will this just end up draining too much heat from this circuit?
2. Fed from the central heating circuit which is feeding the UFH system with two way valves driven by a timer.

Any opinions or other options would be gratefully received, the house is being refurbished so running new pipework through walls etc is not a problem!

Thanks

option one - I am a user not a plumber

my towel rail is 'off the hot water' which generally ends up with arguments about terminology.
It runs off the boiler to tank circuit - not the taps!

my rail gets hot whenever the hot water system heats ( with thermostatic valve)
the CH is off for 6-9 months but even in high summer you may want to dry damp towels

Thanks Tigercubrider.

I am also envisaging not running the UFH for 6 - 8 months of the year hence putting the towel rail radiators on a separate two way valve and timer so they can call for heat from the boiler separately to the UFH system.

You also have the option of adding an electric element for summer use.
How close it is to the necessary pipes is an important consideration.
