hi
Posted little while ago about what wireless thermostat to get fitted now have bigger problem I've noticed my boiler is leaking a small amount of water from the white pipe that runs underneath & the pressure is under 1 Mb tried to get a engineer today failed no one calling me back - I can't turn the central heating off - it has a LCD display & will not go lower than a certain temp. The central heating temp that is. There is no dial to turn to off position. I'm worried lots don't know what to do apart from keep trying to get an engineer. But is there anything I can do in the meanwhile? Help any suggestions most welcome I don't want the thing to blow up or die it's less than a year old. It's a green star i Worcester . Thanks

White pipe could well be the condensate pipe
Does it keep leaking when boiler not used

sounds like you may have a couple of problems , but if that condense pipe is leaking it maybe blocked further downstream . check if connected under sink and not blocked there , if it is it will certainly breakdown soon

That's odd.

I don't remember getting any call from you!
Ha ha trying to find you in the lists of hndreds!
Thanks for replies the boiler won't turn off unless I suppose I turn off all radiator thermostat valves ? The boiler is in the bedroom so no sink in there.
I will keep trying to get a heating engineer & may have a go at refilling - I know it won't last long with the leak but it's not pouring more like a small puddle every 24hrs but pressure under 1 - thanks again

Big fat F on trying to repressurise - boiler ( of course my luck) doesn't have the integrated keyless filling link or the keyed one - nope it seems to have a filling loop & reading manual till cross eyed can't work out what bits to undo to repressurise - don't want to flood bedroom , but can see small drip coming from the joint of white pipe - I will my contine my trawl through trusted traders & cross everything. I have posted some pics shows boiler type, sad pressure gauge leak & I think the external filling link - if anyone has any ideas? It's definitely a green star oh can't post pics - just shoot me now & it's snowing again

Don't panic, sounds like the boiler has a small drip on the condensate pipe, probably a 5 minute fix, and the pressure has just dropped slightly in normal use.

Thanks have been panicking hate being useless I'm sure I could work out the external loop to depressurise it but am sick of crouched in a ball with my head in a cupboard ha ha omg could not hope with being a plumber/heating engineer but bloody wish I was one right now

Is this my external filling loop? If so what do I do with the valves/tap ( blue) to repressurise? I can't turn the heating off the LCD controls only go so low- on the radiator side - there is no control knob that goes to off. I'm guessing switching off at the power switch is not the best idea? If I turn all radiators & towel rail off will this mean it would be OK to repressurise safely ( presuming I find out how to turn the valves). I have posted a pic further down that shows the only controls the boiler has & where the slow leak is coming from. Apologies to keep going on but I want to do something still can't get engineer hopefully tommorow - thanks
