I need to buy a ladder. I was thinking of buying a telescopic ladder.
It needs to be telescopic.

Lots of availability on Amazon with good reviews.
Nothing to think about?

Just thought I'd ask here in case someone had advice saying otherwise. :)

Thanks

Hi,just think about safety really.
Get a ladder which has a BS standard label. http://docs.healthandsafetyhub.co.uk/GBM/Alerts/ladder-failure.pdf
the weight of the user has to be taken into account including any heavy items being used on the ladder.
This ladder listed below is an up to date ladder with soft closing rung's so you or others dont crush your fingers and has the BS standard listed,so its a good buy although a display item..Dont buy a ladder without with out the soft close feature, without BS label and never buy a used secondhand ladder, apart from being stolen it could be dangerous.

Good luck.

Hope the OP don't mind, but ladder related... Is there a good multipurpose ladder someone could recommend,or what I should look for in terms of safety and features.

What height do you want, is it for general purpose ( gutter/window Cleaning/Hedge cutting ) use inside or out, weight loading on ladder.

want general purpose.
Roof + guttering - occasionally
@Bosswhite let me know what u think

Telescopic ladders are limited to height, (3.8m) doubt if you could get to gutter level unless it was a bungalow. Folding ladders are a bit better up to about 5/6m

I bought a telescopic ladder online a while back, they are great for general purpose DIY/occasional use but to be honest (depending on how much you'll use it) not the sturdiest of things.
