Hi, I have a predicament with the fitting of the waste to my new freestanding bath. I have bought an exposed chrome waste & overflow kit, but where my installation differs is that the waste drain is through the floor between the feed pipes at the tap end, rather than under the middle of the bath. This mean that the shallow chrome trap and connected outlet pipe is going in the same direction as the overflow pipe and therefore there isn't space for both one above the other. I either need a non-shallow trap that allows the waste pipe to sit underneath the overflow pipe, or a trap extension such as this: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/161248124745-0-1/s-l1000.jpg, but obviously it needs to be chrome, or at least chrome-effect but after searching the net for hours I'm starting to think such a thing doesn't exist? Surely I'm not the first person to want to do this...

Any ideas please - maybe there is a different way altogether I'm missing?

This image is similar to my set up- I need to rotate the trap and main waste pipe through 180° so it runs under the overflow pipe but it sits too high:

Can you not get beneath the floor?
You could then adjust the pipework under there to get it to where it needs to be to connect to the chrome fittings!
