Hi all,

I've just completed building an aluminium rack using 25mm profile from aluminium warehouse.
I noticed that the 5 way connectors (pic attached) don't fit very tight (Apart from the centre point) - all other connectors need a good hammering and won't pull apart without great force but the 5 ways just slip out without much effort. (I made a video: https://goo.gl/photos/2cwz8pfSFzzHrtwf9) - Has anyone used this stuff before?

Thanks
Al

The "your projects" forum is for blogging about long running projects you're undertaking, not asking questions. You'll get better responses by asking in a dedicated forum because those forums are more heavily frequented by people looking to answer questions. Only seen those connectors used with steel box section , maybe Ali is a slightly different Dimension? A bit of tape over the end would help it lock .

Originally the inserts were cast alloy and had plastic inserts that deformed as you fitted them
In the 80's they launched the plastic type

Is the tube specifically for that type of fitting?
