DHW not getting over 60 deg

Hi, I measured the Hot water at the Bath tap fully open just now and it's 3L per 15 secs so that's 12L per min. Sounds about right give-or-take.

Is your boiler 24 or 28kW model?
I suspect 24kW

Billm, would need to check again but I think flow rate outed for the 28kW might be a stretch at what is pecified for micro genus 28. Your few rate is tad high I think, hence you see 60 degrees

Aware your boiler is not a microgenus, but there should be little difference

Reduce the flow rate a little and let the boiler stabilise to 70, then check hot water at the tap

Are you actually measuring the temp coming out of the tap and its 60 degrees?

No I'm just going by the LED display on the boiler. I will try to find a thermometer and check the actual temperature from the sink tap
 
I just found this spec in the manual if it helps

I've reduced the flow rate at the boiler and the water temp upstairs is now much better. There wasn't much adjustment on the valve into the boiler before it cut it off altogether but I did manage to reduce it.

The flow from the shower is still very fast so I think I'll get one of those Flow Reducers for it and open the valve on the boiler back a nudge then the kitchen sink flow is acceptable.

Sometimes a shower head has rather too high a flow output to enable the water supply to keep up.

Usually a number of the holes can be blocked with epoxy resin in order to reduce the flow rate without lowering the pressure inside the head.

This has the benefit that the ejection speed is not reduced and results in a better feeling shower.

Billm, it would seem that little bit extra water flowing through the heat exchanger was not quite attaining the 35 degree C specified in the manual
Slowing the water a tad now will show temperature of 70 (if higher adjust for 70). Try the hot water rate measurement again- should be closer to what the manual says.

It's still showing 60 on the led's. I assumed the boiler thermostat would restrict it to 60?

If you had the test gear, you would then be able to set the boiler to parameter quoted in the spec.
Restrict the cold water a tad more till 70 light shows. Remember, you will need the hw thermostat set at max

Boiler will fire at max for central heating,
