Hi I need to fit a radiator and several smaller items to my bathroom wall. The walls have 10mm tiles stuck to 12mm plasterboard which is dot and dabbed to brick. Do I drill through to the brick or can anyone suggest the best options

Do I need longer rawl plugs then? Or just longer screws? Sounds daft but I don't want to mess up the tiling

I'd use plugs without sleeves, they fit fully through the hole, but you need some prop to push them fully in. And of course you need longer screws as you still want the screw to reach the end of the plug.
An alternative might be frame fixings.

My thoughts were to drill through into the brickwork. Install long rawl plugs so they seat fully into the brick then use the equivalent screws. But I wasn't sure if this would be over kill. I'm a mechanic by trade so I do tend to over think these jobs

Thanks for your input. It seems were on similar thoughts for this anyway

Should I use long rawl plugs for the whole hole. Tile pb and brick. Or just tap the plug through into brick? Just thinking no support for the screw on the other 22mm in pb and tile? Again I am probably over thinking this

You could use a pack of Dryline Pro fixings they will easily hold a rad or a wall unit.
There are other fixings that c/w spacers - google.
Or you can cut your own spacers but perhaps not best with tile in-situ.

To be honest I'd probably just go with frame fixings if they're going to be hidden behind a rad.

+1 for Dryline Pro, I've used these for rads. Or you could try Grip It fixings
