Controlling CH with Z Wave

I don't have (and don't want) a room stat at the moment but I am looking to control CH with Zwave. I already have the logic built the ZWave TRVs on rads - now I just need a way of telling the boiler to fire up or shut down the CH. We have a Worcester Bosch combi and I was looking at getting one of these

Given that this is simply a relay (I think) wouldn't any old ZWave relay do the job? As I understand it all that the device needs to do s supply a live to the required terminal on the boiler to inform the boiler to run the CH (which is wat a normal room stat receiver would do)

Am I misunderstanding things?

That's it - any switch or relay would do the job.
The only variation is that some boilers require 230V on a particular terminal, others use 24V or less. In any case it's just a matter of connecting the correct two terminals together to activate the boiler.

At the moment I am using an old programmer, my eTRV's are set to switch on at 7 am my programmer turns boiler off at 6 am and back on at 7 am and that seems to be enough to ensure boiler is running when the eTRV open.

I also do not like the idea of a wall thermostat, they seem to defeat the whole idea of continuous temperature control, the boiler has variable flame height, the eTRV has variable flow rates, so during winter months there is no turning boiler on and off it just seamlessly controls temperature.

However as summer returns then at some point I will want the central heating to turn off, I know there is anti-cycle software in the boiler, but I would prefer on a potentially hot day if the boiler never turns on, so some where I need to have a thermostat to switch system off in the summer.

My hall never gets warm, even in summer so although a thermostat works there in the Winter, not really much good to turn off heating in the summer. Living room is completely different, even in the Winter the bay windows catch the sun, and not unknown for room to hit 26°C by 11 am in the Winter due to morning sun. So I really don't know how to get it working well?

I've got it all sorted, so if anyone wants advice, let me know
