has been voted onto the U.N commision for woman's rights. They will be serving a 4 year term.

There was a programme on Radio 4 this morning on the subject.

who voted them onto the commision is kept confidential . But it was suggested that Belgium ,France & the U.K were 3 of the European countries that voted for them ??????????

I'm told that women aren't allowed to drive a motor vehicle in Saudi Arabia, despite this being false we'll take it as true.

I'm told that women are allowed to drive a motor vehicle in the western world.

We need to look at this from the perspective of a by-stander at school run drop off time.

IMO, Saudi Arabia has it nailed on the head.

it was discussed on the radio woman are "not" allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia.

recently woman have been allowed to stand for election to local council type (?) organisations (?). Those that have been voted in are not allowed
to sit at the same table as the elected men or be in the same room , afaik they have to have a video link ?

Radical Islam mate. Nothing new. If you mention it here somebody will call YOU racist for mentioning the ****e these guys get away with. Move on.
I hear the weathers not bad tomoz?

I believe they are Sunni Muslims, and reputed to be behind most of the financing of the extremists in other Muslim countries.

Now I can see why France and the UK would vote them on, but not Belgium; didn't know they had an arms industry.

The school run would be just as bad, but the taxi drivers and the dads wouldn't hang around the school gate gossiping whilst they had a fag after the morning run, but it's be just as bad in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the school run is the school run, no matter who does it

They do: FN - which also owns the American companies Browning and Winchester. The previous British battle rifle - L1A1 SLR was a derivative of the FN FAL battle rifle.
