Brick Inspection Chamber - Attaching new plastic soil pipe to clay joint?

Could you not just swap the access point on the existing SVP for a junction and run into that?

I just asked him now why he doesn't ask the council to do it and he said that he has asked them in the past to put the ground floor w/c in for him but they rejected his request because of some rule they have about working on a house that does not have a level access (apparently the door step on the house that is about maybe 15cm high makes it so that they will not work on putting a downstairs w/c in) he also asked them to then remove the door step and then come and do the w/c (he is in a wheel chair so removing the doorstep is actually something that he needs to be done to help him get in and out the house anyways) and they refused and basically told him to go on the register for a house to rent that was disability friendly...

EDIT: He said today that the reason the council would not install the downstairs w/c for him was basically because the house has a door step and that too would need sorting out for a disabled person (in a wheelchair) to be able to be able to get in the house easily and they said its easier for him to go on the waiting list for a disabled house and basically sell his house (or something along those lines)

Do you mean the bit that is above the ground level, that has a cap on it? -if so, then that bit connects to a bend bellow it in order to reach the clay pipe in the ground.

Thinking about it though, I am not sure why not we just remove the bit inbetween the bend and the clay pipe and swop it for a T thing for the new soil pipe to connect. Im sure there must be a reason we didnt go for that option.. I'll need to go look at the pipe later to see

Yes, the above ground but with a cap on, you could fit a tighter plastic rest bend and join the new toilet above ground. As long as you can get a fall between the outlet and the T then your good.

Connection that low could fall foul of building regs, they don't permit any connection less than 450mm above the invert of the drain. Also, rest bends are fitted for a reason, changing that bend for a shorter radius bend so close to the chamber may result in an unholy mess building up in the chamber. I doubt the BCO will allow it.

It might but it goes round another bend before it reached the channel so it will probably have settled.
