Hi Folks

I hope you're all well. I will be moving into a new property in the next few weeks, and was wondering what things I need to clarify/know with the current occupiers before they leave the property.

I have made a list as follows:

1. The mains water stop tap.
2. Operation of the burglar alarm
3. Finding out how the kitchen appliances work.
4. Taking final meter readings
5. Where to forward their post
6. What day the bin men come
7. Al house/window lock keys

Is there anything that I have missed off?

Thanks

Gas and electric are the most common meters, so don't forget the water meter.

If you'r renting, is there a current gas safety certificate, and where is it.
If you're buying, then when was the boiler last serviced, and who by.
As there's a burglar alarm; is there a contract, and if so, who with.

Windows / Doors if fitted within last 10 years may have warranty that can be passed on with the sale of the house. Details?
