Batten to joist hanger

I have a 47 x 175 batten and need to fix 47 x 175 joists to it. Joist span is only 1668mm. My question is what hangers can I use. I cant find a 47 x 175 timber to timber hanger. The guy at the store said to use a 47 x 92? Is this correct?

Jiffy joist hangers are used in this situation and are very common in builders merchants.

Thanks. The engineer has stipulated a 47mm ledger head (same as joist). What fixing would you use to brick?
